It's the season of rains again.  Who doesn't want to sit by the window and sip a cup of coffee or tea resting on a cozy chair while watching it rain outside?

But, when it comes to stepping out in style, some of us ladies like to follow what's trending. So, without much ado, let's have a list of what's going to be trending this Monsoon season.

1. Bold and Dark Colors: Although, dark colors are not the first favorites when it comes to rainy season, they can be paired with brighter contrasting Tops to balance the whole look.

2. Monochromes: Single colors and their shades are going to be in this season again. Basic Black and White shades are great for formal occasions while more vibrant colors will suit casual outings.

3. Ruffles: Ruffles have been a favorite of fashionistas many times before and they are going to be back and trending again this season, thanks to our Indian beauties representing nation at international events. Be it tops, dresses or skirts, ruffles are going to be back again in fashion, including sarees.

4. Crop Tops: Social media fashion influencers have been flaunting crop tops as their staple outfits for already a long time for now, thus crop tops are not going to leave the spot anytime soon.

5. Floral: Floral prints have been my personal favorites forever and I beyond delighted that they are going to be coming back in trends this Monsoon season. Floral prints look great in dresses, tops and even ethnic wear if carried wisely.

6. Bell Bottom or Wide Legged Bottoms: For this season, ditch your skinny jeans and get comfortable in Bell Bottom Denims. If not, then wide legged trousers. Palazzos shall complement any ethnic short kurtas very well.

7. Shorts and miniskirts: If you prefer to go bolder then shorts and miniskirts are this season's new favorite. Yes, miniskirts and short skirts are going to be back in fashion again this season.

This humid season isn't asking you for a major wardrobe upheaval, rather a few changes to your dressing style. The best part of it all is that you probably already have most of these stuff from the periods before, when these were in fashion. So, you don't have to start afresh.

Confidence, your inner self and occasion should reflect in your dressing style this season, whether you choose to go plain and simple or updated with what's trending each time you dress up.

What matters the most, is how you feel from what you're wearing, not how others feel about you when they see you.

Have a bright day!
